Senator John McCain appeared on the David Letterman show this past Thursday night (October 16) to stand good on an invitation he had previously canceled. While being interviewed, Letterman asked McCain if she was his first choice for the vice presidency. This was a legitimate question. However, Letterman continued to press him on Palin's qualifications, after the question was answered. Letterman even downplayed Obama’s link to convicted terrorist and unrepentant anti-American, Bill Ayers. Moreover, Letterman seemed frustrated that Obam’s tied with someone such as Ayers even came up during the campaign. How ridiculous! I believe what’s fair is fair and Letterman should drill Obama on issues as well. We know there are plenty of them that could be addressed. Let OUR voice be heard all the way to New York. Here’s how... The producer for Late Show with David Letterman is Chris Moloney. Join with me in sending Mr. Moloney an e-mail expressing your concern and disagreement with how the talk-show host handled the interview and request that Obama be on the show to also answer some questions…far more serious ones. Fell free to add some questions of your own. His e-mail address is:Chris Moloneycjmoloney@cbs.com
With that said, please also allow me to remind you to be kind and professional in your e-mail. I have dealt with Chris (Moloney) in the past and have found him to be very helpful, kind and professional. It’s okay to speak up and to speak out…as long as we make sure we do it with the right attitude and spirit. We can disagree without being disagreeable.
